Delicious Recipe of Oats Dosa | Best Instant Oats Dosa Recipe

1.To make instant oats dosa into a bowl adding in one cup old-fashioned rolled oats, the reason why I am using old fashioned rolled oats is that it is more high in fibre.

2. After this add 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds also known as Methi seeds.

3. Then adding some water and going to wash and rinse this a couple of times until the water runs clear.

4. And once rinsed add some more water and soak this oats about 10-15 minutes. you need to soak the oats is that soaking the oats will help to release the phytic acid content in oats, phytic acid prevents nutrient absorption and may cause digestive issues to some people so it’s  always ideal to soak grains like oats before cooking them to soak it for about 10 to 15 minutes.

5. After 15 minutes the oats are nicely soaked so rinse it a couple of times.

6. Then keep it on a strainer.

7. After that adding 1 handful of shallots. Shallots are good source of iron and folate hence, if you don’t have shallots in hand then you can use 1 medium size onion.

8. For some extra add of iron and folate, i am adding in 1 sprig of curry leaves.

9. Next adding 1 green chilli which breaking into two.

10. Then add small piece of ginger which was roughly chopping.

11. After that adding the soaked and stained oats and add 1 tbsp Himalayan salt in it.

12. Add 1 cup water.

13. After adding water blend the everything until everything nicely mixed and it becomes into a dosa batter consistency .

15. Let’s start making crispy oats dosas. Heat a frying pan and grease it wood press oil.

16. Then reduce the flame of oven and pour in one to one and a half lateral full of the dosa batter.

17. After that add some drizzle of desi ghee in the center on the sides. If you vegan then you can use wood press oil on your choice.

18. On the low flame allow the dosa to get cooked and crispy.

19. Once the side crisp and nicely cooked, you can just flip it over.

20. Once the other side also cooked you remove from the frying pan and now your healthy recipe of oats dosa is ready to serve.
