Chilli Cheese Toast
Ingredients
- 4-5 medium Fresh Green Chillies
- ½ medium Red Bell Pepper can also use Green Bell Pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Processed Cheese, grated
- 4 slice of Bread
Instructions
- Finely chop the green chillies, red bell pepper, garlic, and coriander leaves.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped vegetables.
- Add butter to the bowl with the chopped vegetables.
- Gradually add the grated processed cheese into the bowl.
- Mix the chopped vegetables, butter, and cheese thoroughly until you get a creamy mixture. This will be your chilli cheese spread.
- Heat a pan over medium-low heat on the stovetop.
- Toast each slice of bread for about 30 seconds on each side until they are lightly golden and crisp.
- Take the toasted bread slices and spread the creamy vegetable and cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice.
- In the same pan (medium-low flame), place the bread slices with the spread side facing up.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese and butter mixture has melted and the bread is golden and crispy on the bottom.
