Banana Bread Recipe no Eggs Step by Step

1. We’ll first preheat the pan so here, I’ve got half a cup salt and a stand in my pan so I’m going to preheat this at medium flame for 10 minutes.

2. For this recipe we need 2 medium sized ripe banana. Well if you’ve got more ripe bananas the ones which have black skin on the outside that’s ok you can use those, as well instead of throwing them away they are perfectly fine for this recipe.

3. The next step is to add that banana to a blender and add milk to this here, I’m using half a cup of milk which is at room temperature. Now make a fine puree and it’s fine if you accidentally leave some pieces of banana in the puree that’s okay.

4. now add 4 tbsp oil make sure you use flavorless oil do not use peanut mustard or extra virgin olive oil.

5. now add 2 tbsp melted butter I’m using salted butter because that goes really. Well with this recipe if you use homemade market add a pinch of salt added.

6. Now add 3 4 cups powdered sugar this is regular sugar just grind some sugar in your mixer in your jar, a whisk makes it easier to remove the lumps now sift together.

7. Then add one and a half cups of all-purpose flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, and half a teaspoon of baking soda. So sifting a little at one time. Start with a whisk so be gentle the intention is to just, mix the batter and remove the lumps and not beat it. After this, you can switch to a spatula and then gently fold and mix. So cut and fold gently.

8. Now add half cup of chopped walnut or you can add your favorite dry fruit.

8. here I’ve got six by four cake cream, which i have lined with parchment paper. You can use butter paper or parchment paper finally, top with some more walnuts or dry fruits & bake this at medium flame for 25 minutes, and then lower the flame and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

9. So be patient so insert a toothpick or a skewer and check if it’s done or not well in my case this banana bread this cake rose so well that it touched the lid of my pan and that is the reason you can see it’s slightly flat on it the top because it did not get that space to rise.

10. So the cake has cooled down and I’m going to slice it & serve it.

How to make a banana cake that isn’t grossly mushy inside

Here are some tips for making a banana cake that isn’t mushy inside:

  1. Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cake will be. However, make sure to use bananas that are not overly ripe as they will be too mushy.

  2. Use the right pan: A 9×13-inch cake pan is the perfect size for a banana cake.

  3. Don’t overmix the batter: Overmixing can cause the cake to turn out dense. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.

  4. Allow the ingredients to come to room temperature before baking: Room temperature ingredients will mix more easily and evenly, helping to prevent a dense or mushy cake.

  5. Add some texture: To add some texture and flavor to your cake, you can add nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruits to the batter.

  6. Use the correct baking time and temperature: Follow the recipe’s instructions for the correct baking time and temperature.

  7. Do not over-bake: Overbaking can cause the cake to dry out. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.

  8. Allow the cake to cool: Before frosting or slicing, allow the cake to cool for at least 10 minutes.

  9. Use good quality cake flour: Cake flour has less protein than all-purpose flour, which can help make the cake more tender and less dense.

By following these tips, you should be able to make a banana cake that is moist and flavorful, but not mushy.

Can you use black bananas for banana bread?

Yes, black bananas are often used for banana bread because they are very ripe and have a stronger banana flavor. They are also softer and easier to mash, which is important for the texture of the bread. However, you may want to reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe as overripe bananas will be sweeter than less ripe bananas.
